VAST Journey is a behavioral change application designed to support users in overcoming challenges, fostering personal growth, and enhancing overall well-being. The platform offers a selection of over 100 challenges, each accompanied by expert-crafted quests that break down difficulties into actionable steps. These quests assist users in identifying obstacles, gathering useful tools and resources, connecting with supporters, seizing opportunities, reflecting on progress, and cultivating virtues and skills. Additionally, VAST Journey provides a framework for users to support others in overcoming challenges they may be unable to recognize or address independently.

The app encourages users to view themselves as protagonists within their personal narratives. They can choose from five real-world quests tailored to specific challenges and embark on a structured journey toward resolution.

The core features of VAST Journey include:

<li>Home Screen: Presents 'Opportunity Awaits' cards designed to promote focus and facilitate incremental progress through small, meaningful actions.</li>
<li>Media Library: Offers access to curated media and activity suggestions—including reading materials, videos, podcasts, games, and interactive content—selected to support success.</li>
<li>Quests: Displays guidelines and success rules to steer users through their tasks.</li>
<li>Allies: Allows users to connect with trusted individuals for support and accountability.</li>
<li>Journal: Provides space for reflection on progress and planning next steps.</li>
<li>Profile: Visualizes how user progress influences character traits, skills, and development.</li>
</ul>

The app facilitates daily progress by offering various tools and prompts:
<ul>
<li>Rules for Success: Detailed instructions outlining objectives, required items, and steps for goal attainment.</li>
<li>Acknowledge the Positive: Encourages reflection on motivators stored within the journal.</li>
<li>Quest Prompt: Provides unique journal prompts corresponding to each quest for deeper insight.</li>
<li>Recognize Obstacles: Helps identify potential barriers to progress for strategic adjustment.</li>
<li>Power-Ups: Guides users to recognize objects, skills, or individuals that can aid in overcoming challenges.</li>
<li>Connect with Allies: Facilitates reaching out for support or guidance from allies.</li>
<li>Time Management: Includes a 24-hour chart for scheduling tasks effectively.</li>
<li>Prioritization: Enables creation and reordering of to-do lists based on importance.</li>
<li>Media Recommendations: Suggests books, videos, music, and activities pertinent to the user's challenge.</li>
<li>Add an Ally: Encourages inviting others who can contribute support.</li>
<li>Notifications: Notifies users of new media suggestions or when friends accept ally invitations, keeping them engaged and informed.</li>
